Back seat is useable
The back seat is so useable! Why are people complaining so much about the back seat. I just did a day trip 100+ miles one way in my car with an adult male in the front passenger seat and 2 adult females in the rear. They had no complaints at all and fit!

Did they have legs?

Two females on top of one another sounds very interesting, how could you drive?

I don’t use the back seat for anything except for maybe an umbrella or hat or small bags after going to the stores.

People will bitch and gripe about everything! If the Camaro was an SUV they would be complaining about that too saying it was too big and ugly and needs to be smaller and better looking. GM could design the perfect Camaro and it still wouldn’t please people so they do the best they can!

The back seat is usable, and it’s highly dependent on the height of the people in the car. As a 5’8” driver there’s leg room in the back for my kids, and maybe people to I’m guessing 5’5”. If you’re a tall driver and have to move the seat back, there’s just no room, it’s that simple. I’m amazed sometimes how folks on the forum will argue with me I’m wrong about my experience, and back seat doesn’t work, end of story, but I’m guessing it’s taller folks who can’t get it to work.

The back seat is awesome. That's where I keep my gloves, since the glove box is so small. :-)
Seriously though, it's usable? Yeah, if you don't need all of the front seats. I'm 6 feet tall, I could get the grand kids in the back. That's probably about it, but who the hell buys a Camaro for the back seat legroom? Last edited by Zaqwert6; 12-09-2019 at 08:11 AM. |

It depends on who is in the front seat. sure, if you can pull the front seats up far enough, people can fit.
there ain't nobody with legs sitting behind me, I measured less than an inch from the back of my seat, to the front of the back seats. |

My fourth gen could actually fit 6ft+ guys while maintaining an acceptable driving position. My sixth is only acceptable for kids.

What might make a little more room is jacking the front seat up as far as it'll go, to increase the distance to the pedals, but this also jacks your head into the roof. I'm always amazed at how many people jack the seats all the way up...in the fleet SUVs at work. Like you need to be even higher?
