Yes, I should be getting it back today. They finished the transmission yesterday, they ordered a "sprocket(whatever that means) and a new wiring harness". Today they said they were going to do suspension

The car is finally done picking it up today! It was some loose bolts that was causing the knocking noises.

Picked it up and there is no more noises! Rides amazingly... feels like stock, until you push it around a corner. There is zero body roll and it just feels planted. Made a turn with ease at 1G. I will be going to sebring either end of this month or next month and will really be able to test it.

It's not often we like hearing "it feels like stock" after spending money on performance parts! ;p Glad to hear as I would hate to spend $1200 plus labor and hate the way it rides.

AWESOME - thanks for sharing the results, and definitely share the Sebring results!

I just traded in my 17 1ss for a new 18 1SS, and having the dealer install the same 2 kits before I buy so it'll be covered under warranty. I kinda wanted to feel the brandy new stock feel before doing it, but the warranty option pushed my decision. I should have it next Thursday. The weak link will be the stock SS wheels. I plan on a 1LE wheelset in the spring after I remove the winter set.

Nice! Yeah the wheels make a big difference. I have Apex 18x10 square set up, its great. Tires are cheap and I dropped 80 pounds in rotational mass.

That's awesome. Take lots of pictures with the stock wheels. I'm interested in that suspension combination as well and debating about going to SS 1LE wheels as well.

Looks good. Thanks for posting these.

What's the offset on your 18X10 wheel and what tire size are you running?

Thanks.

Thanks! I did some calculations on your wheels and tires (see last column.. all comparisons are to the stock SS wheels). 18X10 offset 25 and also 5mm spacer. My calcs show your wheels poke out basically 1" further than stock SS wheels -- maybe it's an optical illusion, but from the pics it doesn't look like they really stick out any further than stock (even further than SS 1LE setup).

The OD and revs/mile are very close! Any handling difference noticed from the significantly increased tire sidewall?
