Same car, same mods on the same dyno. The Magnuson 2650 made more than the Magnuson 2300. There is no argument there at all. (BTW Auto car ) Doesn't even involve a competitors brand in that comparison at all.

So far no one has compared dyno's vs other dyno's. If anything we have compared trap speeds which is an overall much better comparison.

Sorry I missed your question earlier.
Combined the 2 Magnuson bricks are 40% larger than the Edelbrock's TVS2650 Camaro intercooler.

Quite the contrary, there is data to backup every claim on the website, so I'm happy to start publishing it if so desired.

Just a tidbit about me - you can bet I have data for anything that I talk about.

What items in the website list that you posted would you like to have comparative data for? I have both units (Magnuson and Edelbrock) here at my disposal - along with a SC performance stand. Just let me know and I'll plot that data or run the units for comparative data if I don't have it for that specific unit already.

Edelbrock is 12"W x 10.5"L x 1.4"H = 176 in^3

Maggie is 4"W x 12"L x 3"H = 144 in^3 times 2 coolers = 288 in^3

Is my math wrong? How are you calculating?

Post #25 shows the Edelbrock core the same thickness as a $5 bill, so 2.625” tall. Looks to be about 5.5 bills long too, so 14.5” long? Wish the picture in the post was next to actual ruler...lol. But would be nice to get a solid measurement to compare to the Maggie to settle this.

Unfortunately the photos that were posted earlier with the money must have been from the Edelbrock Mustang TVS2650 cooler which is 2.375" thick ( I have one of them also).

The Camaro (LT1/LT4) cooler is much smaller - both in area and thickness - it is 1.4" thick.

STOP this bickering or it WILL be stopped.

There's only one person posting actual data for a direct comparison (Camaro-to-Camaro 2650s) here, so if you can't substantiate opposing claims with data, don't argue about someone else's data.

I agree..

No need to argue.. please send me a link to the testing done on the mag 2650 and the competitors 2650 where they went head to head bolted on the same car with the same setup running the same psi, timing, fuel, TB, intake ect..

I know you have testing on your unit.. but I'd like to see the testing magnuson did on the competitors unit vs going on your results claiming there better or thinking the competitor can not be any where near this performance.

Does anyone have the edelbrock 2650 on their lt1? I've had my heart set on a magnusson but just waiting for all the details on their 2650 to decide between that and the heartbeat. Edelbrock is selling their on summit for 6695 which is a awesome deal and started really thinking of going this route but the other day Cunningham motorsports posted a Facebook video of a lt1 with a edelbrock 2650. With the stock tune it only did around 450rwhp and 470ish to. After the tune it did in the 530s for both. I know Cunningham knows his stuff but just wondering if this is what all the lt1 cars can expect. The website claims 609 rwhp and tq in the 580s. Just trying to get info to make the best choice

If it was a stock TB and intake I could see the low numbers.. I picked up about 60 rwhp on a 103 and vararam prototype intake one zl1.

BTW...

Either way you decide I would run the lt4 pump or the LPE pump and the lt4 injectors, FIC 30plus or the uwe 45plus. That way you can make the most of the blower being able to fuel it. Or you could run the lt1 stuff and have the port injection stand offs drilled to run port injection and spend the money wisely toward a somewhat unlimited fuel source.

If your handy you could get a zl1 2650, an exchanger for 180.00 on ebay w similar size, a pump(upgrade like stewart or davies), a harness from DSX that goes to the maf, map, iat.. maybe come out 1000 cheaper ( if you get the davies) You might have to mess with measure and cutting intercooler lines but that's simple. The bolt pattern on the blower I know on the eforce fits lt1 or lt4 so that eliminates one of the hassles and you can just plug the pvc on the bottom of the zl1 2650 and retain your valley cover.

I thought the zl1 2650 was around 5200.00

Maybe because the ZL1 kit doesn't include intercooler-related parts, because that kit uses OEM ZL1 equipment (i.e. HE, pump, hoses, etc.)?... That's what I assumed, because that's been about the price of that E'force for months.

Exactly I think you could source the parts cheaper and get better parts while doing so..

6700 vs 5200..

1500 to source the parts Iisted.. or even source stock zl1 part like adm
