New PWR lt4 slanted intercooler bricks
So I took the plunge and ordered them but not without a little research and data.
On Jokerz performance website Brett said" our shop on a 2020 GT500 we switched out the factory intercooler brick to a PWR one & picked up 30whp & saw roughly a 10 degree IAT drop.Each core is hand made, welded and pressure tested. Good for 20+psi with zero collapsing.Improved air flow & efficiency. Cooler IATs." So I decided to email him to see if he had any data on the PWR lt4 bricks. I asked him if these bricks bring down Iat2 and manifold air temps while allowing more air to pass through and he responded with "Yes they flow 14 more gallons per minute at same pressure ratio as stock.Temps are 20+ degrees lower at wot then stock.The core technology allows for better water flow through the core for better heat extraction as air passes through a denser fin design that allows air to travel through . It all sounds good but I was still spectacle. It helps that Jokerz and Brett are well respected on here but I decided to give PWR a call and they said they have witnessed a have seen 15-30F reductions in IATs throughout a pull in all GM applications. I have a ported supercharger,Nick Williams 103 TB,2" Headers, Interchiller along with the FI thermal blanket and fasterproms supercharger thermal spacer (no longer made by them but FI interchillers started making the plates now). I will update everyone on my personal unbiased results as soon as I install them. BTW I have stock cam and heads and stock SP pulleys. I may end having the COOLEST stock supercharger... |

Interesting. I’d love to see what you think after install. May have to look into these also.

This is interesting to me as it seems you could see a benefit without a tune due to the cooler temps. Simple drop in. Too bad they are $1,800.
