Clutch return spring kit
So my clutch got stuck 1/2 under hard shifting on 5th gear. One of the guys told me that there wqs a tsb for this issue and the remedy is to swap out the clutch pedal ti a ZL1 or change the return spring.
I am looking it lingelfilter L360091410. It says it fits 10-13 caro ss, any idea if it works with 14-15? Are they the same?

Yes it does. I put one on earlier this year. Instructions are a little confusing but it works. I never had an issue beforehand but it returns it really well. Makes the pedal a little stiffer.

I fitted the Lingenfelter kit to mine (along with the hard braided clutch line) after experiencing the same at the local drag strip. My pedal used to stay down in mid-shift and smoke the clutch. Disappointingly it still happens now and again. I'm hoping a multi-plate clutch will help...

I've never had an issue switching into 5th due to the clutch stick issue. Mine has always been hard launching causing it to stick. I have had the LPE return spring on mine for probably near 5 years and it works.

And while you're down, throw away nonsensical torsion spring on the clutch pedal that some GM donkey invented Before I learned about the Camaro5 and some Lingelfilter kit, I thought of a similar return spring from a trunk old germany car, and a tire valve holder from a duality truck. The upgrade is not visible and works great. Otherwise, this adjustment is just one of the many I did to make my clutch work correctly even in extreme situations. |

I've done everything one can do to upgrade the clutch and hydraulics. I use the return spring as well. I like the way it makes the pedal feel. Call me weird.
