I agree with this. I went to a 17 1SS 1LE from a 14 2SS/RS 1LE .Both have advantages and I love them both. I ended up back in a 15 2SS/RS 1LE but that's a matter of personal preference.

I recommend a used 16/17/18 SS or 17/18 SS 1LE. Used prices on excellent condition low mileage ones are $25k-$35k. Plenty to choose from on Camaro6.

Well, room will not annoy me that much, when going out with family we take the wifes car. I'll definitely pull the trigger once i find the right one here.
My only concern is the 8 speed transmission, almost every one i ask says it's an "unreliable one"

The transmission itself is super strong and reliable, they had issues with the torque converter because of the fluid they used. A flush with newer fluid usually fixes it and if it doesn't they replace the converter. I wouldn't let it keep you from a wonderful vehicle.

Why not just go for a 19 or 20 that has the a-10 that way you don't have any issues?

No sympathy for the devil here. Seriously though I know a couple of guys who have the A8 in their Colorado's and they hate the transmission. Its made me take a second look at the 19's. The bumper wouldn't be that hard to fix and the hook better in person.

Seriously all 5th gen and 6gen look good no matter what year .all pretty decent .. bumper cover is a easy swap .. transmission not so easy

So i sold my 2010 M6 and almost at getting a 2017 low mileage SS automatic.
A 2015 SS 1LE in yellow pops out and changes my mind.
It is a low mileage, clean title, 1 owner and completely stock car.

Price on 2015: 20k$
Price on 2017: 30k$

Do you guys think the 2015 1LE will hold up it's value more compared to 2017.
I love all the creature comforts and all the new tech in the 2017 but a 2015 yellow 1LE is a game changer.

I went from a 2013 2SS to a 2018 ZL1 2 weeks ago, I have absolutely 0 regrets.

With that said, I personally would of never went from my 5th gen SS to a 6th gen SS, but that is strictly due to personal preference..

I absolutely love the new MyLink system, the old MyLink was horrendous for trying to connect phone without having some kind of issues, I love having the blind side alerts, as we all know visibility is crap in these cars. The wireless charger would of been great, by my iPhone doesn't fit in the charging station unfortunately, I love that it has digital climate control that can be set automatically, the 5th gens seem to either be too hot or too cold, absolutely love the cooled seats as well. Various other little things that i personally prefer with the upgrade in technology was huge for me as well.

I really wanted to get into another manual camaro, but I couldn't pass up that sweet sweet 10 speed.

UPDATE:-
I sold my 2010 2SS for 15000$ and i am looking into a 2015 SS 1LE with 20K miles for 20000$

US import clean title has some minor dents and scratches.

The only thing is that the NAV is not working here, is there any way to flash GCC maps to mylink system? And shall i go for it or wait for a good deal on the 6th gen?
