Rocker molding Q's
I ordered the factory with the car and they seem loose.
I have gaps and they float in and out from the body. The dealer put them on as an LPO. Is it normal for these things to float and have gaps like this? I'm thinking no, but I've never had them before. I have to take the car in tomorrow morning for the new taillamps (They swore the smoked ones came with the car and that was a no), an oil change, as well as the bumper cover popping out by the taillamp. I'd like to get them to fix the rockers too (3rd times the charm, they say) if everyone says that it isn't right. https://ibb.co/DRBbPpw https://ibb.co/Hh7xvP4

Mine are C7 carbon and they fit right up against the car and don't move, no gaps or floaty-ness. I would say that's not normal at all. Looks like they were put on and the car was jacked up wrong or something, pushing them out. They shouldn't have gaps or be floating in my opinion.

Ok. I thought so. I'll bark at them tomorrow.
It's loose like that from front tire to back. I hit it with the air from the leaf blower and they pop out 3/8"-1/2" by the back tire. Thanks for confirming what was probably obvious.

Not a problem! Yeah, I would definitely say something to them as well. Hopefully they won't give you a "That's normal." kind of response. Because... come on, it's like a taillight sticking out an inch more than it should, they know it's not normal.

The fitment of the rocker panels is absolutely horrible. I can't fathom why the dealership returned the vehicle to you in this condition. Based upon this fact, I wouldn't trust the dealership to change the oil, let alone remove the rear bumper cover to install new tail lights. I hope the dealership completes everything properly and to your satisfaction, but I'm genuinely concerned for you!
