Removing RS Spolier

I plan on changing out the tiny RS spoiler on my Camaro for the 1 piece RPI spoiler. I was wonder if any of my fellow owners have any advice or tips to make the spoiler removal process easier? I have watched Lethal's video of him removing the spoiler and looks like the hardest part is the 2 tabs. This is what worries me the most. Also does anyone who has installed the RPI spoiler have any installation tips.
Thanks

Use fishing braid and break off the white center post tabs, And be patient, soak the whole thing with Googone for over an hour, keep putting googone on with the medicine dropper on the tape, go slow.

How did you break off the white tabs?

Make sure you get the spacing on the RPI spoiler right or it'll rub against the paint when the trunk is opened and shut.

Have you already purchased the spoiler?

Yes. I have already ordered it. There was an issue with the first one they sent me so they are sending me a replacement.

Make sure you check the fit. You may have to remove some material from the underside"wings" to assure that the spoiler doesn't rub against the fenders when the trunk is open and shut or just from vibration. Also, recheck the mounting nuts and make sure they are tight.

Thanks for the advice. I will be sure to check to make sure to take your advice. Last thing I want is some rubbing or it to go flying off while I am driving down the road.

I installed the RPI spoiler a month ago.
To separate the spoiler from the trunk I used fishing line with key-chain rings tied on each end, this way you have a better grip and control of the line when separating the tape from the trunk.
The screws on my spoiler were not installed on the spoiler. I used a little epoxy and screwed them into the spoiler to ensure they would not come off.
I lined the front of the spoiler with double stick tape to prevent any air gaps that could cause the spoiler to lift and create outies on the trunk. Be sure to cover up any unused holes.
The included template sucked. Its hand drawn on craft paper and you need to cut it out with scissors.
I have an SS so I am not certain if the holes line up on a RS.
Good luck with the install.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found it kinda dumb that the screws werent installed when I first got the spoiler. Which end did you screw in the long end or the short end?
