'17 Pricing to be released week of 7/11?
Hi there. This is a message that I rec'd last Tuesday (7/5/16) from a GM Customer Care rep.:
"I have checked with our team internally and I've been advised that pricing is going to be released in the next week, at which point, your dealership will provide you with this information. I have also confirmed with the ordering department that your vehicle has been built. Your vehicle is currently awaiting shipment. I'll be happy to follow up next week on the price and update you on the MSRP once it's available. The dealership will have to confirm the price of your specific vehicle, based on the different options on it. ^BA." So, for those of u that are awaiting pricing, or waiting to place your order, based on needing to know the price, hopefully it'll surface (early) this week......we shall see.

It's a bout frekin' time, on both counts, U.S. pricing has been out for 2 1/2 months already.
Keep checking on your order for shipping even if you have to call every 2 days.

wishful thinking I'm sure but maybe we'll get the 2017 1LE and ZL1 pricing as well.

So, GM has released the prices for all Camaros, HOWEVER, they haven't released the pricing for any of the options......So, as such, the dealer will not disclose the price, until they can confirm 'everything.....'.
As I bought a 2SS, they'll only say that the base price is "$48-XXX something"! Which only tells me that the overall vehicle increase is less than $1000. If anyone else has an actual base price, or any option prices (which they assume will be 5-7% more for '17), I'd love to know what anyone else may know.....

I reached out too my man Tony Ladas at New Roads. He is looking into it for me.
Options should be the same price. They haven't really gone up.

I think GM Customer Care is just blowing smoke up our butts about pricing coming out this week to shut us up and stop calling the useless center.
IMO, I bet it's not going to be released until the Canada Wide Clearance promo concludes on Aug. 2nd. This prediction is from past experiences, whereby they would also have to update the GM website at the same time. |

So, the latest is that they are now "unsure", of the price!
My apology folks, what I told you, is exactly what I was told. However, they don't seem to know, and no one seems to want to confirm anything yet…

When I contacted GM Cust. Care, they told me it's coming sometime in the 3rd quarter, Aug. Sept., they weren't sure.
I asked them, what happens to customers' orders with 2017's that arrive at the dealership and the transaction can't be complete because no pricing is available. Their response...a joke..."Your dealer will be able to sort that out for you". TYPICAL GM REPLY always direct you back to the dealership, I told them that, and ended by telling them the Cust. Care center is a joke and waste of money.

Frank, my car sat for a few days, as the dealer had it out with the Area Manager and Oshawa, as we all wanted to see it delivered.... the invoice for a built/shipped car took days...... If I could go back, I'd delete this thread.....as it's based on another false lie that I was told..... Anyhow, is the pricing all-set and in-place for your new '17? Sorry to remind you, but it looks like you'll have a long weekend to get through, before u can enjoy the new ride! I assume that you'll still have the Vette to scoot around in until then? Cheers.

Another reason why the website doesn't have 2017 pricing is that they're still trying to push the 2016's out, so they don't want people looking at the new vehicles.
The Camaro page is now showing cash discounts on 2016's, extension of previous promo. However, when you click on the "details" tab, it shows you all vehicles BUT the Camaro...I see they have great web people on the job.
