Does the car run ok till empty without hard cornering?
Have you tested it?

Edit: have they checked for any codes?

Yes runs fine, I've been down to and past the LOW FUEL WARNING multiple times.

They did check the car for codes, the engine light had gone off, I didn't ask them what codes they found but I probably should

Well then my layman logic points to something loose that stops the fuel flow under high G, which causes hesitation coming out of a corner (as suggested by the explanation above) and then corrects itself. Maybe a sensor? If fuel pump was bad it would do it under any conditions, even if intermittently.
Then again, this is a pure guess again...

Here are two links that describe various root causes. Tons of others as well. In any case, good to have some generic understanding for your discussions with the service folks...

Ive PMed ya re one of the TSBs mentioned in the other thread. It is defo worth checking. SS 1le had a harness issue a while back as well. Maybe the thing moves and shorts itself coming out of corners. Who knows...

Apparently the "fuel pump" is an entire assembly of multiple components that includes pick up, air filter etc... and is about 12" by 8" so it sounds like each of those components in the assembly could fail individually, which would increase the chances of the "fuel pump' failing because it's not just the a pump.

Still odd luck to have multi pump failures. I guess if I had to choose between my bad luck and yours, I'd take yours. At least there is a warranty behind it, not not a judge and Ex-wife!! lol I'm very curious if your situation/symptoms will return though?? I'm surprised more people have not experienced this fuel issue when tracking!! I'd like to be able to run with less fuel, especially when trying to cut weight that generously comes with thy Vert. Maybe there is something up with mine as well?? Idk it's not an issue otherwise, unless doing exactly what you were (and I was doing) with similar fuel levels when symptoms occurred. Like I said my solution was starting with more fuel to prevent the "starvation". Thanks again for keeping us updated.

Maybe it is time to ask the dealer exactly what they replaced each service. And raise a bit of hell with mgmt.

FWIW, I’m not sure that the codes will be helpful. Modern cars run on thin air fuel ratio margins. Hence the power vs mpg we get. Anytime you get a lack of fuel the car is probably gonna freak out and toss a bunch of codes that will be more likely in regards to lack of fuel, but not likely to tell you why you have a lack of fuel.

Really hope you get to the root issue here.

Car is going in on Monday, will be testing it IMMEDIATELY after they are done, with 1/4 tank to see if the issue occurs again, will keep you posted.

Fingers crossed. Get all the docs from prior visits so you have a detailed paper trail and full understanding of exactly what they replaced each visit. My 2 cents and best of luck!

UPDATE: Took the car on 4 hard long corners around a highway on ramp loop on 1/4 tank and everything worked great every time!
