Don't worry about what others say, I was like you back in the day with a 67 & 75 Camaro and a jacked up 79 Ford 4x4 man I was living the dream. I also worked 2 jobs to live that dream and didn't care what others would say, I knew that my work ethic was getting these toys for myself and no one gave me anything.

Its not the norm. That's why you get the looks and will continue to get looks. If I saw you getting out of a 2SS I sure would give you a look too. Don't take it the wrong way though. No one understands your situation like you do. People are quick to judge because they revert back to a comparable situation as a quick reference point in their minds. The use that as a standard and anything that deviates from that standard are abnormalities which create reactions. We all do it for various things, some of us are more obvious about it than others.

Wow, that's great. When I was your age, the only people that had nice cars had wealthy parents. For comparison sake, if I were to be employed now, in the position I had at 18, I'm not certain I could make the payments for the car+ insurance (never mind $$ for gas and girls)

LOL, I haven't even bought mine yet and I'm getting haters. I will be buying a 2018 2ss in the next month or so. I mentioned it to a few friends and neighbors, next I hear people are saying I'm going through a mid life crisis. Lol. I'm 38 years old and have had camaros all my life. People are always gonna hate.

Congrats. These are good time to be a youngsta!!!!!!! We didn't have your opportunities when I was your age, so I had to roll a 1986 Chrysler LeBaron fir my first car. haha. But, I didn't care. It got me to the parties and all the drug deals you could imagine.
