Not good news for Ford

Ford 4th quarter losses is very shocking. 1.7 billion loss

that's nothing on sales of 37 billion. They wrote off a couple billion in restructuring and a couple more billion for bonuses on the wage agreement. They plan on writing off another couple billion this year. That's peanuts to the big three, but I sure would not buy any stock. If you look at EBITA they are a 6-7 billion in the black so it's not all gloom and doom.

It's 2004 all over again.

All these Ford fans bragging about Ford not taking a bailout in 08/09 is because every quarter back in the early 2000's was Ford taking billion dollar loses. This caused them to take actions to be able to survive their huge loses and not go bankrupt.
