Wheel touch-up paint

My 2021 RS with black forged 20" wheels have some curb rash I'd like to touch up. Is there a recommended paint to use?

Thanks!

Back in the day I found this after scouring the internet. Color codes from this chart can be used for ordering touch-up paint packages from, say, paintscratch.com that I used successfully several times, or even amazon in some cases.

You may be able to do the same, or just use the black wheel color code, I don't think GM would've changed that after 2018.

Head to the parts department they can track down your paint code and have touch up bottles.

Spoke to the dealership, and they don't carry wheel touch-up paint. They sent wheels out to a business that grinds them down and paints them, for $75 a wheel.
Mine are not that bad yet, imo.

I'm pretty sure the wheels are just GM's gloss black (WA8555).

I used the regular car black gloss touch up paint for mine and it is dead on. I cannot see it even when i am cleaning the wheels. That close.

If they're gloss black just buy a bottle of black nail polish, works like a champ and much cheaper.

Not hijacking, but my ZL1 wheels came with a scratch from the dealership and I have not been able to find any info on the closest possible paint match, it’s not a black and it’s not gray it’s in between. Just wondering if anybody has narrowed it down. I do realize different batches have different hues, so just looking for a close enough match.

I just last night used the otherwise forum recommended WA748 for the ZL1 wheel and assuming the product is mixed correctly, it's not even close. It's much more black than my wheels. Of course I didn't sand, polish or clear it and the OE paint is some multi stage with Pearl and whatever. I just brushed it over to cover the scrapes and it looks bad. I don't suggest WA748 for this. I got it off Amazon from "Harpy".

I only have the full paint compat chart for 2018, but wheel color WA784U is a perfect match for my SS 1LE wheels (assuming your 748 is a typo). Let me post up the chart in case it helps, the ZL1 may have one of the other listed gray wheel colors.
