It's almost the same consistency as the foam in your case.

As long as it works, I am good with it. If you want grips that look good get a 1911 with pearl-diamond-ruby-uranium grips.

Very NICE! I'm a big fan of the Talon tape. Have it on my SIG320's, the little G-43 summer gun and on my old HK USP Tactical. All of them the softer tape.

That VP 9 is one sweet pistol. Good ergos, decent trigger, good balance and sights. What's NOT to like.

I no longer have a real need to own the newest, fastest, most Tactical, etc. But that is a very tempting future purchase. Played with one this morning at the Bozeman Gun Show. I was VERY tempted. But....My love of SIG intruded and I ordered a new 226 Legion this afternoon from my Dealer buddy.

I collect older Smith revolvers and that market has been not only silly high priced, but good examples have been rare lately. Getting tired of going to shows and coming home empty handed. The SIG was a knee jerk reaction to not a single new purchase in months and months.

Nice! Arizona is scorching right now so I avoid the outdoors as much as possible. Going to the gun range is out of the question. Right now all I do is pull my guns out and stoke them, then put them away.

That's a gorgeous gun. I looked at that one and the Walther PPQ. I ended up going with the Walther. I was not used to the mag release on the HK.

A shot of portable stands we use for LR rifle. FAR easier to pack up and down hills than heavier/larger stands. NOT perfect but they ARE light.
We stopped using chains years ago. Too easily hit and snapped. Use conveyor belting now. Withstands hundreds of hits. Find some lighter belting. Cut with a razor knife, pop holes in it with a hole punch and a hammer. Easy.

NICE stands!

Very cool rifles. just helped a friend of mine acquire a scar 16 and 17 at the gun show here in orlando over the 4th of July. With a trijicon acog and a FN .45. He loves FN and has almost everything they make. Including the ps90 and 5.7mm hand gun.

Just as an update ended up going with another eotech on my AR piston 7.62x39 build. I was originally trying to get the new vortex razor but the plastic windows and being a first gen decided to go back to some thing I know works consistently. So I go an Exps3-2 waiting on the magnifier as this is a 350 yard and under gun. I do have the vortex pst gen 2 1-6 on back order as it will go well with my ar15 to practice a 3 gun course.

On a side note anyone noticing ammo super cheap? I needed to purchase some 7.62x39 brass non corrosive and realized some other ammo prices as well. .308 federal match grade for $15.99 a box is stupid low. Seen .308 brass ammo in the .50 range.

Did you look at www.targetsportsusa.com
Got an email flyer last night with some pretty good deals on 5.56 and 9. Not sure what they have in 7.62x39 though.

Thank you on the info. I use ammoseek.com once I know exactly what kind of ammo I want. Just so happens sportsmansguide was running a special on ppu 7.62x39 brass non corrosive psp for like $8.59 a box of 20 with free shipping as a member. I like to order from them. Since I boycott cheaperthandirt.com now. For this kind of ammo that is a decent deal. Now my gun can shoot wolf ammo in the .28-.30 a round but I have 2000k round of yugo brass berdan primed ammo that would be much better. Not a big fan of washing all the grease and oil out of gun after shooting every time. Just like to gun clean and oil.

just relooked and found this on sportsmansguide. Geco, 7.62x39mm, FMJ, 124 Grain, 260 Rounds for $97.84. This is why I built this gun instead of a .300 blackout. $0.37 is getting super close to .223 in .30cal. God knows how much spare 7.62x39 wolf ammo is in garages.

If you were up this way you could get 1200 rounds of Norinco Non-corrosive 7.62x39 for $400CDN.(about $315USD)
