I have a 2016 Silver Camaro and I am looking to add something to the outside of the car. I have already done the black bowtie but still looking to add some sort of stripe. Not sure what to do or what color to use. So, please show me what you have...

Regardless of the type of stripe you choose, I think black would look best

here's my 2018 Silver Redline for some ideas. I used to have the black heritage decal on the decklid, but have since removed it, since it wasn't part of the original redline theme. Mods away.

8M4, love the black gas door. What brand is that? Also love the black wheels on the car, mine are the polished aluminum. Would love to change them to black. Are your factory, or did you get the polished ones powder coated?

HCI, I think you are right, black will be the color to use. Especially seeing the black on 8M4's car. That is sharp.

Anyone have the IROC style rocker stripe at the bottom of their car? Also, anyone have the spear stripe?

DexnBlair, the fuel door is a GM part, see here. There is a slightly more expensive version with carbon fiber inserts, too.

The wheels, I think, are the GM redline edition wheels, front and rear. I'm pretty sure the exact same look can be achieved by powder coating plus a decal.

Thanks. I am going to order the fuel door now.

I am going to look into power coating the wheels first and see what I can find price wise locally.

I ended up ordering the fuel door with the silver ice insert. Cannot wait to get it an install it.

On the exterior I have done the black bowtie and now will have the fuel door changed. I have also put a hurst shifter in the interior.

Looking into power coating the wheels black and doing some side decal. I like the hash, but also like the rocker decal and the spear stripe. Not sure the direction to go.

Just installed... Car is dusty and pic is not ideal but I can update later.

Cost was $35 for both sides, theres tons of generic stuff on ebay for a fraction of the price of Camaro specific graphics.

Dexnblair, black makes our silver paint pop. Tint the windows, powder coat those wheels black and install the black fuel door.
You'll love it. The spear style stripe is also an aggressive addition. You don't want to over do it though. Keep it simple. Enjoy the ride.

I'd go look at the Silver Ice photo's thread. See if there's anything there to get a good idea from or to pinpoint what you want.

Thanks for the link. That was a big time help. I think I know what I want to do now. I am not going to do a stripe. I am going to wrap the rear spoiler in black, add a front spoiler in black and put the black fuel door on. That should be enough black to break up the silver a bit. I actually like the polished wheels a bit better than the black wheels after looking through the pic's, but both do look awesome. This will get me a starting point and I can always change as time and money allow.
