Lady merged into my car yesterday and it left a dent and some marks. It will be fairly easy to repair, but I am now considering getting a whole new bumper. I like the 1LE bumper, but can't find any aftermarket that fits the ZL1. They're all seemingly conversion kits for non ZL1s.

Does anyone sell a conversion for the ZL1? Does anyone have pics of how it looks? I do not want to get the spoiler (I don't road race and don't want the extra drag).

Yes, it will bolt right up. If you have to replace your fascia anyway, may as well upgrade if you like the 1LE version and that is what you want to do.

Bumpers are not the same size. You can't put a ZL1 bumper onna SS. Wildhammer Motorsports sells the OEM diveplane kit and everything you'll need. Don't get a conversion bumper from Ikon or AA. You'll be disappointed as it won't fit properly. Here's the links for you

the zl1 bumpers will bolt up? i heard the stock bumpers will bolt but there are gaps and fitting issues due to the hood and fender differences.

im on the ropes on this one. i heard the aftermarket version is really good by some, and bad by others. not sure what to look at.

OP has a ZL1 already, so from what I understand, you just need a ZL1 bumper and then the dive plane kit, the grills, and the splitter to make it the 1LE bumper.

you know i didnt even notice that. haha. i keep forgetting there is more then just SSs in this forum
