Satin Black Bumper Bar on my '20 1LE
With the 1LE package I really like the look of the black bumper cover and headlamp bezels on the 19s. Not a huge fan of the flow tie, or that it was gloss black when everything else on the 1LE is a shade of satin. (Wish they were all one gloss level of satin - but that's a different issue.)
So I acquired some replacement parts and had them refinished by a friend with a paint shop. Stock black with a satin clear. I am pretty stoked with the results. Pretty true to my vision. And I still have the Crush parts, if I chose to go back at some point. |

I was tossing around the same idea. Mine is red hot.
Question: Did you have to pull the bumper to take the trim parts off? |

Yep, gotta pull the front fascia off. That's not terrible. But I'll yell you what, disassembling the bumper was a bit of a job. Now that I've done it, could do it again. I also had some major help from somebody with a lot of knowledge on doing that.
Love the results. Totally worth it, but it is a bit scary. |

That looks killer. Exactly what I'm planning on doing to mine (got the '20 center bar already) and I'm pretty sure you just convinced me to run the grille bowtie. Is that a simple install? I think the 19 and 20 grilles are exactly the same and the bowtie just mounts with a bracket, right?

Looks Great!
I put the 2020 piece on my 2019 to get rid of the flowtie.

If you swapped the center bar yourself, you can do the emblem 1 handed and blindfolded. I struggled a bit with the bar, and I am used to this kinda stuff! That is a fairly complex fascia assembly. |

Excellent work! Subtle details such as this are important. If someone was very detailed oriented, they would also paint the side view mirrors to precisely match the center bar of the bumper cover and the hood.

I think a real carbon fiber center bar option for the 19/20 would be nice
