Track = Calabogie Motorsports Park
Elapsed Time = 2:19.05 Camaro Year / Model / Trim = '17 SS 1LE Date = 10/17/20 Tires = OEM SC3 Mods = Brembo HTC 64T brake fluid Was lucky with the weather and track conditions vs. driver improvement, but I'll take it. https://youtu.be/91gYpPjMSfw Last edited by JKM; 10-18-2020 at 05:23 PM. |

Thanks, TrackClub! That's a legitimate excuse. I don't think I was under 2:22-2:23 in July and August due to the heat.

That would be about right, albeit zero question there is still an improvement opportunity for me there. Would be fun to run together and compare notes. Perhaps next summer! Regardless of the temps, getting into 19s is huge, so my congrats again. Cheers! |

Track = Indianapolis Motor Speedway, GP course with F1 loop in place and, "Island," in turn 7
Elapsed Time = 1:57.88 Camaro Model = 18 SS 1LE Date = 10/18/20 Tires = SC3 Mods = Motul RBF600 I made lots of mistakes and didn't quite have the guts to carry full throttle through a few of the sweepers so I'm sure this won't stand for long. But I'll enjoy being on the board for at least a little while! |

Drove the full MSRC 3.1 track for the first time on Monday with Edge Addicts! I added some notes about the problems with this lap to the video description and uploaded a partial lap that was a little better/faster before I came up on some traffic. It was nice to meet some new drivers and there was a strong showing of 6th Gen Camaros including another stock SS 1LE that I passed in one of the sessions.
Thanks to carguy55 & LJenkins1LE for your PDR YouTube videos that helped me learn the track layout, line, and approximate speeds to carry beforehand! I also met a track member who drives here regularly and says that it is possible to get an SS 1LE on stock tires into the 2:24s under perfect conditions although he doesn't use stock tires anymore and he has some other mods now. Track (which config if applicable) = MSR Cresson - 3.1 Elapsed Time = 2:29.04 Camaro Year / Model / Trim = 2017 1SS 1LE Date = 10/19/2020 Tires = OEM Goodyear Supercar 3 Mods = Track alignment (camber: -2.3° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), StopTech STR 600 DOT 4 brake fluid, front StopTech 309.14050 Sport Brake Pads (very similar feel to stock pads) and rear stock pads, GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors. Traction/stability control fully disabled, track mode with touring steering mode. I also had a scary spin and made a playlist with some other videos from the event.
