Great work man!! Looks good!

How does the seat bottom come out? I pulled the seat back out and weighed it, and was going to do the bottom as well, but couldn't get the front of it to come loose.

Looks the same as the version a company just realised today for 280 dollars, think I may go this route.

Looks good. You did a great job on that homemade kit.

I had the schrader kit in my 2016 5.0, but after the bitch of an install (that included a trip to urgent care for putting a box cutter through my fingernail) I never wanted to worry about undoing it all and replacing the seats again...which pissed off my wife who wanted the seats in place in case we ever had to put our kids in that car.

So, the back seats will be staying in my 1LE...LOL

This may be obvious, but other than weight reduction, why would you want to delete the rear seats??

Weight savings is the main, but some people prefer the look (especially if they never use rear seats anyway) and the car sounds a bit louder with all that deadening gone.

On another note, i'm following you on IG since you're 15 miles away - follow me back.

Less weight, less cleaning/maintenance, slightly louder exhaust note. No one is ever gonna be in my back seat so.

$47, some time and small amount of weight reduction. This sure is a good option, even if it’s an older post.
