Dear Chevy....

Do you really think that by not putting an ignition lead in your fuse box you are creating a longer lasting reliability reputation?
No offence to any tattooed crackhead stereo installers out there, but every car installer I have ever met was a tattooed 65 IQ meth-head whos boss charges $60/hr. How the boss charges $60 an hour for a non ASE-certified tech is beyond me but it happens every where. Dont get me started on the ASE-techs...
PUT a goddamn ignition lead in the trunk and under the hood Im tired if trusting handicapped kids to poke holes in my wiring harness's.

Are you talking about for an amp remote turn on?

One of the fuses in the trunk is indeed controlled by the ignition which people have used for an amp turn on. I will look into it more tonight and get back to you.

It seems the wireless charger circuit is the one some have success with. I saw on another thread that didn’t work for you.

Guess you need an ASE certified tech to help you. Good luck finding one that isn't "a 65 IQ meth head"

Nah, tried that. Last one forgot to put the oil in after the oil change. Good thing I only lived 2 miles from the shop and it was a honda.

Didn't even get a refund. And now I'm pretty sure I know the reason why automakers had to get rid of the solid key and went to one the collapsible one.

Actually I have two more!

Took a mustang to an AC shop to replace the AC system (shocker!).
Brought the car home and it suddenly had a massive tranny leak.
Had my wife take it to a tranny shop (must be the creepy kind) asked them to torq the pan to spec. They sad they did. still leaked but for $800 they could look into it further.
Took it back to AC/DC's shop. threatened to smash every car in the lot until i got to the original mechanics car and they politely fixed the fluid leak and refunded a few hundred back.

Heres another mustang story.
Went to a crappy little dealership to check on a manual mustang. took an hour to get there and the car he advertised wasnt the car he had an the craigslist ad. So I left about $30 worth of rubber in his parking lot when I left. He texted me back upset. There was alot of back and forth threatening but thru his stupidity I found out where he lived but kept that to myself.
Eventually I told him the being fat, bald and stupid was no way to go thru life. he responded "I'm not fat!".
These are the people that dominate the car industry.

I am certain there is something wrong with the stock head unit. hopefully, if I ever get to my second oil change mileage, they can replace it after the service.

I saw on the boards somebody got there whole exhaust replaced for heat soak.

How hard could it be getting chevy to warrantee the radio?

Heres a vortech story.
Took a z71 in and told the shop to get the water pump replaced as the weep hole was leaking. those slick bastards tricked me into some kind of $300 seal replacement that had already been done from the looks of the 4 gallons of gasket seal gushing out of the front of the intake manifold.

30 days later she starts running warm again, the antifreeze was low! OMG gotta be the head gasket right? well I could see the the water pump was still weeping.
i replaced the water pump myself in no time and for next to nothing and NEVER had another problem with that truck.
bow down to the chevy V8 pickup!

It was also wierd that i sold that truck with the same miles I bought it with.
