Question for zl1-1le owners
I'm thinking of ordering the oem dive plane kit from GM for my zl1. Is the plastic canard a smooth plastic or is it textured? I want to paint them gloss black to match the rest of my zl1 and if it's textured it will make things more difficult.

Don't order the Anderson Composites canards. They are raw unfinished resin/fiber in the under side. I did a whole write up on the various brands and quality. Your best bet is Trufiber. Extreme online store would be next in line. I have a set of Trufiber canards on my car. I added a vinyl accent strip across the leading edge to help with rock chips. OEM will require a hole on the bumper on both sides.
