I chose the tire and the shop put the appropriate size on. Unbelievable difference in the handling with new tires and a wider wheel. Super happy with all of it. Didn’t know I could love my car more, but I do!
Thanks! Are they gloss black or satin black? I currently have the Carbon Flash wheels on my 2SS but really wanted the 1LE Wheel & Tire setup but there was no way to order it without the 1LE package (which I didn't want)... I'm thinking when it comes time for new tires to pick up a set of these and go wider and then sell my SS Carbon Flash wheels...

They come in gunmetal and gloss black. I went with the gloss black because the car is black. I wasn’t sure if I’d like that much shine but I’m so happy with it. I used to look at my car and think the wheels were an eyesore. Now everything looks like it’s meant to be! And while I did expect to notice some differences with the new set up, all I can say is WOW, now this car handles more like I thought it should.

Nice! Thanks for the info, I'm definitely leaning towards doing that setup when it is time for tires...

Wait till to add springs, swaybars and endlinks. Game changer!! I did mine a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with it all over again.

This is definitely on the list, so hard to decide what’s next!

What a difference, eh? Best of all, these LEDs make backing up in the dark that much easier.

Looks like a Borla setup so it's either the Atak or S-type. If it has the npp valves your looking at 1k for either setup.

Thanks
They're USB powered so I have them plugged into a 2-port USB adapter plugged into the 12v socket on the console, along with the dash cam. That's a switched port with the ignition, so no plug pulling needed.

Hard wiring them to go on when the door is opened is more trouble than it's worth, plus I already have OEM illuminated door sill plates for that. IMO they look way better being always on.

In Tears

After a year and a half, and 6000 miles, I took it in and am giving someone else the opportunity to get more smiles per gallon than with any other vehicle I have ever owned. A sad day but a new chapter has started, with a 2021 Denali HD 2500 Black Diamond Edition. Now, the search begins for a 1968 RS.

I'm going to do the same thing. Once my tires need to be replaced I'm going to get the MRR 1LE Wheels and wider tires. My current tires were new last year though, so I'm not going to just toss them, to much $$ to just toss.
