SS Camaro is the most fun car I've owned

After having my 17 SS 6 speed since new as my Daily Driver I can honestly say this is definatly the most fun and fastest car I have ever owned. And I have owned and driven some 60s muscle that were quick. The big Difference with the Camaro is its not only quick but just goes where you point it and its comfortable and looks good going down the road. I find it hard to believe Chevy is not selling more of these cars.

On this forum, I doubt your going find many, if any, dissenting opinions, lol.

Yes, I find mine to be an absolute joy to drive. I think the return for the price is quite good. I love to see curves in the road! (wish i would have jumped for the 1LE in hind sight). I like that i am often the only Camaro at any stop. There are mustangs, chargers, and challengers all over the place, like rabbits...

I fully agree with your comment on how Chevy is not selling more of these. But that is likely going to lead to a thread explosion on corporate (mis)management, advertising, best business practices, etc, etc. ;-)

Yea money well spent. Best car i've had out of over 20 in my life so far. Only negative is worrying if someone is going to hit it when you still park away from other cars and you come out and see someone still parked right next to it. Seriously its happened to me a handful of times. I even worry about valet parking guys taking it out for a joyride.

My 2017 ZL1 that I bought used last year is the best and fastest of the 6 Camaros I have owned over the years since the first one, a 1982 Z28 that I bought new!

Ditto!

Not sure why people complains about visibility or trunk space... That's not what you buy this car for. If you have visibility and big trunk space, the car wouldn't look like it does, it would look like a Mustang or a Challenger or a Camry. It's the design of the car's dimension. For the Camaro to look the way it looks (much better than the others IMO) and perform the way it does, that's what you get. Do people that buy other sport cars like Ferrari or Lamborghini complains about visibility or trunk space? If they do, they need to get Camry... same goes for the Camaro buyers.

Although I only owned a handful of cars, I concur We just finished a 1000-mile road trip with my wife, she had zero complaints about anything, even wanted to drive, which is unprecedented, she is normally afraid to even consider it.

I particularly like the Jekyll & Hyde aspect with the Maggie, the car can easily behave like a nice tame kitty with all the amenities, then become a roaring lion the next moment. Heck, simply taking a corner is already fun.

The difference with mine is that I already de-warrantied, then wrecked it, so I'm somewhat less worried about resale value, she is definitely my forever car (It looks and rides (!) better than new after the repairs btw, the body shop pulled wonders with the alignment, they must have some seriously high tech equipment.)

Because they don't advertise And they wonder why the challengers are outselling the Camaro. Couldn't be the brotherhood of muscle commercials you see every half hour could it?

Same, most fun car ever. I'll be saying it again in a couple of years when I get a ZL1, haha...

I guess it's okay that they don't sell as many. Just means we have a car that is more unique and rare compared to the Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, etc. I have to say, I see far more Mustangs around my small town than I do Camaros. I like having a car that stands out from the crowd a bit more than the competition.

For sure, greatest car I have ever owned. As far as visibility I only get a little nervous through restaurant or bank drive-through’s. Other than that it’s a non-issue.
