Boost reading off from data log to analog

Has anyone experienced there boost reading not lining up from hp tuners to what there analog gauge reads.

My analog seems to be where I thought my boost should be at for my d1x. But every time i send a log to my tuner he tells me I have belt slip which I’m isn’t the case.

10-12 psi on the gauge and hp likes to maybe go up to 8 sometimes even lower.

Ive done the man - baro and it still is off. Not sure if there’s a better way to read it.

Thanks in advance.

Mine logs in KPA and there is a formula for reading boost. So my kpa was ranged from about 225 kpa which was about 18 psi. Holley has a table for comparison. On my 5.99@119 pass I saw 237 kpa on the log which is 19-20 psi so it was making some hay on that pass but was also spinning the slicks some when it got out of the groove.

Should be read under intake manifold absolute

I’ll see if it makes a difference I do have it in psi and it could just be loading data trying to convert from kpa to that.

Intake manifold Kpa and Barometer readings are necessary for accurate boost reporting.

Does your car have a Baro Break out harness and sensor or is your Baro disabled??

I can email you a log to look over but yeah i have the baro breakout harness with iat.

My analog will read 12 but my baro/Kpa are way lower.

D1x with 4.25/8.25 pulley combo with rpm up to 7k

What Map sensor do you have and is it scaled properly in the tune?

It’s a 3 bar and you mean like na or tmap type of setting. I assume it’s scaled right but I have no idea how to see it. And my baro is the 1 bar(I have another 3 bar but was told it would be wrong to have that there)

Have you discussed this with him?

I trust the sensors more than the gauge as long at the sensors and calibration for the sensors are correct.
