2019+ Steering Wheel Button Placement Different?

So I have a thread going in the cosmetics forum discussing my want to change my 2016 to a 2020 wheel with heated steering wheel.

After some searching and looking up cars, does anyone know why for the 2019+ Coupes they have this style of heating button with an extra button while the 2019+ Convertibles have the "older" style?

Chevy's online builder says that the 2SS for both have the same features and weirdly the interior shot on the builder doesn't have any buttons. Not even the cruise control if you don't have heated or the safety features.

Here they are side-by-side, the coupe is left and the conv is right

How do you control the forward collision alert? Apparently that button that convertibles don’t have controls it?
