1LE Upper/Lower grilles on a 2019 Crush ZL1, no canards or 1LE splitter

Just some pics in case anyone was curious how this looks with OEM 1LE front grilles (upper/lower) but without putting the canards and front splitter and different side ducts from the 1LE. I'm a HUGE fan of the outcome tbh.

Note, the parts come in matte plastic gray ish color, not Mosaic Black like the OEM ZL1 ground effects, so I had the grilles paint matched in Mosaic Black Metallic before I installed them.

Of note, I also removed the ZL1 lower grille emblem and mount before painting and sanded it smooth and I had the bowtie matched also in black. Shiny be gone. Next step is the OEM ZL1 spoiler in Mosaic Black and changing the hood emblems to Crush and Mosaic Black (vs silver/red). The rear emblems and bowtie are already gone.

Fitment was spot on for all the parts, and there are no visible tabs really for the 1LE splitter at the bottom of the grill when using the OEM ZL1 splitter that does not come up to the grille. The bumper itself is different and hides 99% of the tab slots fyi.

Looks great! Love the crush.

What rims do you have, are they matt black, they really look good?

well done, that looks awesome.

I have literally been looking at doing the same thing to my 19 Crush.
Love the look of the 1le grill, but do not want the aero/canards.

I am thinking about adding the carbon fiber splitter, rear diffuser, and if they figure a good solution the side rockers a well.

Thanks! They are APEX ARC-8 19x10 front and 19x11 rear's in Matte Black. Kind of wish they were gloss but is what it is.

Ty sir! I def did not want all the drag from the big front splitter, canards and giant wing, just the airflow through the grilles and the look.

I love the black bowtie in the front. I want to take the bowtie off my ZLE and leave it off. Does it look weird in that area with the bowtie off?

Yessir it is a solid plasti-welded on endeavor. Removing it leaves a bunch of mounting holes and imperfections. I had them paint mine in its entirety as such.

Looks fantastic. Ball park cost for doing something like that?

Sucks the bow tie is glued on and looks weird once removed. Guess I can’t get away with leaving it off. Thanks for the feedback.
