It really is simple, just pull the top of the seat, hit the pins, done

Hardest part for me was getting the OEM plug disconnected, that thing was in there tight!

Removing the seat back is easy… I struggled with the connector with the seat back in place. I ended up removing it to disconnect the plug. Although, your plug may not be as tight….

Same experience for me. Two "sideways V" type spring clips about 3-4" down from the peak of each seating position. The top will lean out about 4", just enough to get my forearms down into. Took a little wiggling and effort to get the connector apart, but otherwise the install took about 10 minutes total.

Ember has a YouTube video he made when he installed his that I found helpful.

  • Hi, I wanted to give a quick update on my One Touch Top unit.
  • Recently, all the top functions stopped - the button on the headliner, key fob, the triple click of the unlock on door handle, etc.
  • I wanted to make sure it wasn’t recent work done on my top when it was replaced due to someone knifing it.
  • The folks who replaced my top plugged into the OBD Port to try to read codes - no codes.
  • As a last resort, their OBD tool had a command to lower the top ignoring all warnings or blocks - the top worked perfectly.
  • Then I concluded it must be the One Touch module - I opened up the back seat, unplugged and replugged the module in, and voila, now the top worked perfectly again.
  • I am so relieved and am stoked my top works again!!!

I ordered this device back in March of 2022 and FINALLY installed it last week. I worked with their support and have to say they are extremely helpful and quick to respond. Everything works perfect, this is worth every dollar all day. Highly recommended if you are considering it.
