I'm new ... Sort of ...

I posted on CAMARO5 about my beloved, 2013 1LS being totaled by a distracted-driver on 2-18-24. It was a Christmas gift from my wife on 12-27-15, and together, I put over 167,000 on the car, with almost no issues at all from it's LFX V6 or anything else, other than routine maintenance and an alternator/fuel pressure sensor.

Yesterday, a new baby entered my life. A GORGEOUS blue, 2017 3LT. It has the LGX V6, mated to the 6-speed manual (plus a surprise under the hood, in the form of a discreet supercharger - YES, the engine HAS been properly tuned for the SC).

It was a 2 hr, 15 minute drive just to get to the dealership, then working the deal, and another 2 hr, 15 minute drive home. So by the time I got back, I was done (I'm getting old

).

Even keeping my speeds "State-Trooper approved," (9, you're fine, 10, you're mine), I could tell that this sleeper is nothing to be toyed with!!! L-99 power and V6 weight = WOW!!!!

Congratulations, she is looking purrdy, and I bet she hauls the mail with the supercharger, too

Sorry about your Gen5, it's a pain to see these great cars destroyed, but you got a silver lining out of it, and a very thick and shiny one at that.

I like these tasteful exterior changes (black SS wheels and SS spoiler), too... is the interior stock?

On a side note I've never seen a Garnet Red camaro in person. Ford had a color called laser red in the late 90's and it looks similar. It was a tri-coat color so it really popped!

Congrats. I have a Cherry Tintcoat Red (deal I could not pass up on a '21 with 1200miles in Dec '22), but almost got a new Hyper Blue Metallic (Car sold a few hours before I went to dealer). I think my favorite colors are, in no particular order, Cherry Tint Coat(and close cousins), HyperBlue, VividOrange.

Glad to see you jumping back on the horse(power) and in a big way! Nice find, great color. By the tone of your last thread I was thinking you were gonna end up in a Minivan or some vanilla crossover.

Beautiful car, and what a nice surprise! I'm partial to the blues now, but had a Patriot Red Metallic 1994 Z28 for 27 years, so I love that dark red color as well.

The blue with black rims looks good. What kid of Tq is it putting out/

Looks GREAT! Hyper Blue Metallic is by far GM's best Blue color, if it was available in 2020 I probably would have gotten it... (I have to say Wild Cherry Tintcoat is another fabulous color that wasn't available in 2020 either but one of my buddy's has a 2022 WCT 2SS 1LE and it is an AMAZING color!)

I ended up going with Shadow Gray Metallic and am really happy with it but one of these more "in your face" colors might have been nice... But then again, I just turned 56 so maybe SGM is more my style...

Great looking ride and definitely Welcome to the 6th Gen World! It is a great improvement over the 5th Gens!

Your profile says 2LT yet you noted it as a 3LT.
Also, and I say this with no malice, please change the color listed from Royal Blue to Hyper Blue Metallic! Most awesome blue GM has ever done! As far as I know, it was only used on one other GM car, the Equinox, for 1 year only. I've only ever seen one of them, so it may not have been super popular on the Equinox.
