How often does your 6th Gen get compliments and looks?

Both my 99 Z28 and my 17 SS get a considerable amount of compliments but my 99 isnt stock. I would say my 99 still gets more looks and compliments but it's pretty close.

Yesterday I was cruising in the SS by a group of 'social distancing' people and immediately their fear of Coronavirus just disapeared as they all turned back and watched me for several seconds after I passed them with awe gaped expressions.

Countless drive thru compliments in both cars, by gals and guys alike.

I was once driving by UT (Austin) and a group of cute girls were crossing the sidewalk infront of my stop sign and they just froze infront of my car and just took it all in. It was funny. They didn't move from infront of my car for several moments and started talking among themselves while practically edifying it before finally crossing the street while looking back.

I'd say my SS gets an A- and my Z28 gets an A+

I own a 700 hp 2000 SS Camaro, and my stock 2018 RS V6. I think the SS gets more attention mainly because it's loud as hell, but I think my RS is the "prettier" of the two if that makes sense.

Drive a ZLE into a car event full of exotics, the exotics get forgotten about and everyone congregates around this thing with wild aero pieces. No bullshit. I am on Park Up Front and go to their local events. Exotics everywhere. Lambo, McClaren, Ferarri, even a couple of Paganis. The ZLE draws attention. I can't explain it, I wanted to look at the Pagani. LoL

I get compliments on my ZL1 all the time from people I know and others I don’t know. Our club had a meet this morning and did a cruise thru the city because we haven’t met since this virus shut everything down. We did participate in a car show back in mid February and I had folks checking out my ZL1 because there aren’t many 6th gen ZL1s around here.

My zl1 1le gets hardly any attention at all but i get people trying to video my z06 while driving all the time. The z06 is slightly louder and its daytona sunrise orange metallic versus garnet red met on the zl1 1le. I was on the highway in the z06 and a mini van with factory tinted side windows came up alongside me and there were not one but 3 i assume cell phones in the side windows recording as the van paced me so naturally I dropped down 2 gears and dropped the hammer the adult in the front seat gave a big thumbs up when they caught up and went by after i slowed down and I returned a wave.

I get compliments, waves, thumbs up and light flashes every day. Mines a 2018 2SS in hyper blue with ZL1 splitter and side skirts with a ZLE wing, matte black hood and z28 replica wheels and ppl love it. Old, young it doesn't matter. Ppl love the color (even tho it wasn't my first choice)

I got quite a few on my 2017 RS, gray color with 20" Adventus wheels. I think the gray color of the car combined with the flat black wheels got most people's attention. My current 2016 is white with gloss black Stance 20" wheels gets far fewer compliments even though I think it looks even better than the 2017. Most people like darker colors, not white I guess.

Every single time I take her out. I had her out yesterday. Cruising down Interstate 71 and these two little boys about jumped-out of daddy's Jeep (he had the doors and top off). I had my windows down/sunroof open and the older boy (about 7ish) yelled at me to floor it. So, I did real quick and dad gave me a thumbs-up. They followed me off the highway at the next exit and the little boys were all smiles.

I was at a light in Bennington VT in my 2013 zl1 back when it was new and an 8ish year old boy came out of a stewarts with a bag of groceries noticed the car ran down the sidewalk and said "do a burnout" I said "the car can't" he said "yes it can its a ZL1" so naturally i left some rubber in VT lol. I was amazed the little guy knew what it was

My 16 SS defintely get's some looks here and there, but my 89 IROC was a showstopper. Whole different level of attention. -but...it was a 30 year old classic. No real comparison.

I get lots of stares, gawks, smiles and waves every time I am out, especially now that it is warmer and the top is down. On my cruise yesterday afternoon, there were two different Corvette owners that did rapid head swivels as I drove by.
Last fall as I came around a corner there was a girl in a late model Mustang that went crazy with waves and smiles. Too bad my wife was with me at the time - haha.

I think some of these guys with their Camaros are like that old engineering joke:
