High performance car, low performance driver. Probably safer in a spark.

The LT4, transmission, and the computer and harness, along with the brakes which even though separated from the car still appear to be in good knick on the suspension links..... I bet that $27k minimum bid is about right on the money for what IS still salvageable.

If I had a few extra quid beyond the $40k I have set aside for my 2SS, I would seriously consider this. The remainder of the car can be resold for scrap metal recycling and you'd get some of that back. Then I would sell my LT1 and transmission as near new..... in the end probably come out very close to even. The only extra would be the labor to pay someone to do all the swapping properly. Makes me wish I had two lifts now lol.

The seats are probably good and lots of electronics can be pulled.

But I forget the price point of the LT4 crate motor - is it $20K?
If so I think under $30K is reasonable - beyond that doesn't make any sense to me.

Wet sump engine is 14.6k on texas speed website. Of course that doesn't include the computer hardware.

Can't really tell for certain in the posted pictures on that page, but if the curtain airbags deploy usually the side torso airbags in the seat also deploys. Which obviously renders the seat junk.

For a new one or a used one? 48 miles that should be compared with a new one.

I don't understand how people can buy an SS/ZL1 and not recognize the power at hand.

Boy wouldn't that make you sick. Drive it 48 miles and wreck it.

Doesn't matter, if it's wrecked it's not gonna be shown up as new.

I don't think he was abiding by the proper break in procedure. Most of us know you have to be pointed straight ahead before throttling these high H.P. cars or they will get squirrly very quickly.
