How to tell if PDR is included

Sorry to create a new thread
Looking to purchase a 1Le out of strate, a couple I see are listed as SS without the 1LE package... dealers don’t know what they have I’m guessing. So question, without telling them it’s more than they think, what’s he easiest way to see if a car has PDR on it? I’m guessing in the bumper you’d be able to see the camera, anything on the dash or console?

Thank you for the help

I could be wrong but I the standard SS won't have the PDR. Only the 1LE will and it's still an option for the 1LE.

Edit. There is a PDR icon on the touch screen.

the camera for the PDR is located at the top of the windshield, in the center behind the rear-view mirror... or you could check the infotainment screen for the PDR icon

There will be three dead giveaways:

1) camera lens. The PDR camera is actually located up by the inside rearview mirror. That will be difficult to tell from pictures online, however.

2) SD card slot located in the instrument panel; down by the drivers left knee.

3) The PDR button in the infotainment screen.

Good luck!

...and now that you got help, let me quietly point out that you probably wouldn't want the dealer to f**k you over, say, by selling you a car as a 1LE when it isn't, so I'm sure you wouldn't do this to them either. Okay, I understand they are supposed to be on top of their offerings, but them not being so shouldn't mean they're fair game.

PDR isnt an option on a regular SS.

Thanks for he help guys
Arpad_ you’re telling me you’d pay more for something then what’s listed? Wether or not they didn’t know, or put the wrong price tag on something?
You’re a much better person than me if that’s the case

I've heard a few people get offensively low trade in offers on 1SS 1LE's by dealers because their valuation system doesn't account for the 1LE part and some dealerships don't really understand the significance of the 1LE package on its value. I've heard of offers in the high $20k's. If a dealer is listing the car as just a 1SS, they gave the original owner really poor trade in. There is certainly mark up of a few thousand on the car on the lot. Some are suggesting you should inform them of the options on their car and what you believe it is worth? No thanks...if the price is right buy it. The unethical part was already done when the car was traded in.

Nah, I'm damaged goods just like everybody else. What I do do is try to look at the long game whenever I can, though. In the end all shenanigans come back at us, one way or another. But I don't want to digress any further and veer into philosophical territory.

Never, ever feel bad about having one over the dealer! For a awhile I thought they are humans too, treat you fair. They had a $5k less on my invoice by mistake, I pointed out before singing because I felt bad that someone had to cover the mistake out of pocket...lots of thanks and gratitude. 6 mo later that same pos manager offered me 28k on trade in saying he met his sales numbers...

If a dealer is selling a 1,500 mile 1LE for $32,000, I'm buying it after I try and talk them down some more.
If they have it listed @ $32k they have already added their profit into the price, so you can probably get it a little cheaper.
The one that got f**ked over is the guy that traded the 1LE in to said dealer, and there's no way you are going to make things right with him, that karma train already left the station.

That's actually a good point you and @Turbo_J89 are making, it's probably too late indeed...

On the lower dash panel where the drivers left knee would be, there's a slot for the SD card for the PDR memory.
You can just make it out right above the dead pedal.

...and obviously the PDR icon in the infotainment home display.
