Dashboard changes

I got a 1LT.
I had this happen once before, the dash changes then when I shut the car off and when I start it up again it disappears.
There’s lots of extras on it that wasn’t on it before, it’s probably a SS dash.
My question is does anybody know how to get it back?
TIA

That is bizarre. I have no answer, only more questions. curious to know what went wrong when you figure it out

It looks like an intermittent software glitch, there is no reliable way to retain those other settings.

DIC pages for all trims and even other GM vehicles are included in the software (probably for efficiency), which is supposed to recognize your vehicle on startup and limit the selection to those applicable to it. This part of the logic might not be bulletproof.

Another example would be the ZL1 boost gauge that occasionally shows up on supercharged SS cars until the car is restarted (it's not supposed to, there is no boost pressure sensor on the SS even when supercharged). Oh, and there was a thread here about someone's dash in their SS accidentally showing GMC truck pages in a completely different red theme, it looked really good

Have your battery checked, typically when this glitch occurs there’s some type of battery drain or electrical issue

That makes sense , but I’ll keep my eye on the battery voltage just in case.
