Body color hood vents/heat extractors on a 1LE?

Thoughts? Has anyone done it? Love it/hate it?

All colors of 1LE have matching heat extractors, black on black.

As I stated body color, I didn't say matching and they don't match one is flat black one is shiny black.

I've been considering this as well, or going red on black hood with blue paint. So they match the calipers... really like the red heritage grill accents Fnredneck has going too. Going too keep an eye out for a hood at the wreckers or something...

Yup, the gloss black hood vents are meant to tie in with the gloss black upper and lower grille pieces...

I'd like to see what it looks like. Some colors would pull it off better than others. On a Kypton Green car, it would be just more craziness

Just did a quick Photoshop of a pic I had of my car on my computer here from the day I picked it up...

Not sure about the white hood vents...part of me likes it, another part doesn't.

Yeh I think wilwaxu was correct in saying some colors can pull it off and some can't. To me white looks weird, this is the photoshop I had done in the forums real fast, it's kinda leave me with a 50/50 feeling.
