Sounds good, thanks! It looks like really clean work, that's very important to me. Looks like a legit company axleback haha. I'll pm you my number so we can keep in touch.

Drone is only on Sport/Track from 1900 - 2100 rpms. I may put a J-pipe to eliminate 90% of the drone on sport/track.

EDIT: Put on 26" J-pipes, eliminated 80% of the drone for sport/track. Good enough for me..
Lets see them J pipes!

Uh oh, the oldman has spoke! Nothing but wisdom from you sir!

At first they were 28" then I shorten it down to 26" and drone is about 80% gone.. I'll take it!

Chart I used

Can't wait to hear it! Post some idle clips too if you can. If I'm gonna spend the money, Borla is where it's at compared to the rest.

I can't afford to spend over 600 right now. I know that the local exhaust shops will try to milk every dime they can get since everything out here in CA is so darn expensive now ....
Well the valve control switch is in the outer tips so you won't touch that. And yep, it's $350 for me but the setup shouldn't cost no more than $400-$500 since all you're changing out are the mufflers. The $350 is with the super 10's (part# 8430152), one inlet/two outlets to the stock NPP tips. So not that much customization. The muffler shop has a lot of experience customizing anyways so this setup was easy for them.

With Outlaws (one inlet, one outlet) you'll need a y-pipe to the NPP tips.. so it'll be a bit more. If you're sensitive to drone (Sport/track), you'll need a J-pipe (~$100) to eliminate it. And if you're muffler shop don't know what a J-pipe is.. hmmmm lol

Hey man, great job this sounds beautiful. I'm trying to replace the factory NPP with something better and I think replacing the mufflers work well for the budget. Thanks for sharing the video. I will look into this system.

Thumbs up

I'm so glad I found this thread!

I've been looking for a cost effective way to get some more sound out of my NPP exhaust. Couldn't really justify paying $1500.00-2000.00 for the NPP specific setup.

Thanks for the awesome and detailed pics. Printed some out and took them to my exhaust shop to use as a template. They said it shouldn't be a problem.

Just ordered my Flowmaster super 10's today!

Nice setup, especially with the J pipe. My straight exhaust has some tolerable drone but this will be my next step if the drone gets too much for me.

The super 10s sound great very nice setup you have...after playing around with my exhaust i finally settled on muffler delete with one dual in dual out super 10 right where my stock resonater was. You just cant beat the sound.
