I was going to suggest the same thing. It is the lightest of the 6th Gens which might be enticing coming from a BRZ.

Hey Rory,

I did get a chance to test drive the V6 and was definitely impressed with the power. Unfortunately I only got to test the automatic (I'm looking for a manual) but the V6 was a definite upgrade in TQ and HP from my current car, and the sound of the engine is unbelievable. In all honesty, the sound of the V6 NPP is the main selling point to me. Has an almost exotic-like sound to it.

I just wanted to thank everyone again for their input. I pulled the trigger on V6 1LT with RS Package and NPP last night. I was sad to see the BRZ go, but the Camaro is just such a better car all around.

Congrats!

So what are your impressions or handling and power compared to the BRZ?

Steering feel is significantly heavier but not in a bad way. Torque is substantially better, and I actually get better highway MPG. In the BRZ I would be turning about 3200-3500 RPM at 65-70 mph which killed my gas mileage. Even during the break-in period the Camaro has been posting better numbers than that. The Camaro also feels more planted at speed and the ride is significantly less jarring. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
