Mustang vs Camaro styling

It seems to me that there are slightly more people who prefer the styling of the 2015+ Mustang GT to the 2016 Camaro SS. Don't get me wrong...I loved the looks of the 2014 and older Mustangs, but I think this new one is butt ugly. I can't get past the long nose, and the styling likeness to the Ford Fusion. The new Camaro on the other hand has a menacing/evil looking front fascia IMO. Am I alone here?

*This is not meant to upset any Mustang owners...some people love the styling of the new stang.

I love the new S550. Its a great looking car. But the rest of it is too soft for me, and I didn't really want to mod.

I agree with you there. The new Mustang lost it's aggressive appearance with softer lines and edges. I will admit the GT350 looks pretty decent though.

To me camaro looks like a high performance concept car. Very tough and fast looking. Mustang doesn't look like anything special. The camaro is such a great design, blending a little retro with a lot of modern style. I don't know how mustang and challenger can compete with camaro's style. Challenger is looking very tired to me now. Also mustang interior is horrible. I don't get the whole dash design. Looks like it came outta 1985.

I think it's a great looking fastback. Best one yet...comparable to the terminator looks, but smoother.

The camaro is a different look. It's a GT car. I like the more aggressive camaro

I actually liked the latest two evolutions of the Mustang exterior styling. Before that I haven't liked a Mustang since the early 70s. It's the bland interior styling that kept me turned off.

As for comparing the styling Mustang to the lines of the Camaro, to each their own, but for me there is no comparison! I love the over the top aggressive and angry styling of the 5th and 6th gen Camaros, and even though much less aggressive, the 4th gen cars were pretty darn tough to beat in their day too!

I couldn't care less about the Mustang having better outward visibility than the Camaro... so does a Taurus!

Agreed. I test drove my friends 2014 Mustang GT when I still owned my 2011 Camaro SS, and admitted his car felt faster. The only significant advantages I can think of the current GT has over the 2016 is visibility and leg room though. Anything else is debatable.

The Camaro looks mean and aggressive while the Mustang now looks like it's trying to turn into a euro-car. I did read that "The 2015 Ford Mustang was designed to be a global car from the outset", so that would make sense as to why it's got some euro styling. I won't say the new Mustang looks "bad" but I much prefer the look of the new Camaro.

In my unbiased opinion, the mustang just looks beautiful. Too beautiful, tho, to where it just doesnt look like an aggressive muscle car, but more like a porsche-esque euro coupe.

The camaro has very aggressive lines, but thay almost makes it look like a toy. It is by no means beautiful, its just rude and arrogant in style, especially with that high belt line.

A few months back i parked behind a GT500. Without a doubt look from the side the Camaro has a more aggressive, meaner look which is just my opinion of course...

Surprisingly, my girlfriend didn't care for the Mustang. She just hates the rear end on it and doesn't really care for the front.

My brother has been talking about how beautiful the Magnetic S550 Mustang is.. Last night we went to a dealership and looked at a Red SS. We then went to a Ford dealership and he said "Let's get out of here, not even close.".. Lol. He said the Camaro is much more aggressive.

I think they're both good looking cars (in the right trim and colors).. The black on the Camaro doesn't do it for me at all. Just can't see the lines. First time I saw the red one (about 3 months ago), I didn't care for it. Saw it at nighttime at dealership.. Looked at a red one yesterday and today and love it. I think it would be that or blue for me.
