I drilled the hole right under the base of the lower gage, then ran one zip tie thru it and I zipped it back on itself. I then left the long tail on it, ran it thru the hole in the bracket on the metal on the left side of the dash and thru a washer on the far side. I then used the head off of another tie to put tension on everything. It is not strung tight, but not loose.

I never had much luck gettin the pod to stay put using the snap in tabs - so what I did is drilled a small hole in one of the ribs on the underside of the pod, then looped a wider zip-tie thru the hole. I then strapped the zip tie around one of the metal braces in the dash that you can see on the left side of the dash once you remove the side cover.

Thing is locked in solid now.
This is very helpful. Thanks for sharing your creativity!

On a side note - I have actually purchased a 3D printer and plan on coming up with a few things that I think will be a better idea than what can be bought at this time to mount gauges, so stay tuned for what's next

They definitely can NOT. I have the dual pillar pod from ZZP and it extends down very close to the dash top. A single defrost vent pod would not fit.

how did ya'll get your ZZP pillar to lock back in place? I'm assuming the clip on mine is messed up because it will not click into place up top. Anybody know a part number for that clip?

Instructions for Gauge Install

Where does the gauge get it's input? Is it electric or does it sense PSI from the super charger? I'm definitely a newbe at this discussion.
