Is there a gap between the ACS rocker and the stock rocker because of the 3M tape? If so, is it very visible?

In that same vein, what thickness of 3m tape did you use? (Received my rockers yesterday but want to install this weekend)

So I finally ordered and installed these. Sorry my car is a bit dirty but if I didn't take these pics immediately I never would.

I had to remove my front GM splashguards for them to fit...someone with way more skill than me could have dremeled them or something to fit but I felt at least 50% sure I would butcher them if I did that.

I used 3M tape on the top part instead of rivets. There is indeed a tape-width gap that I tried to show in my pics, but due to how the plastic is shaped it sort of pulls away on its own, and with just rivets I think the gap would be even bigger (plus now you have holes in your exterior). I put the tape about a half inch from the top because I discovered if I put it flush with the edge you could see it, and it would probably collect dust, which you could also see.

How many holes will be visible per side if removed?
