First I had NPP so there was no drone. So cruising was fine. But a partial open throttle sounded very boomy and loud. At high revs the sound was very high pitched. And startups would wake the dead unless I was in Stealth mode.

I had 1 7/8 ARH LTs, the ARH Cats and the ARH long system going into the stock NPP suitcase. I did hear recently that besides disabling the GM M6 bog (!!) that tuning can change the sound.

If this all true maybe I will try LTs again if someone can come over to my house and help me put the PIA LTs in. I could do 5th gen LTs in a couple of hours or less. But driving the 6th gen chassis and LT1 motor is so worth it.

The Carven R-Series sounds awesome with this set-up.
