Rear deck speaker question
Trying to clarify if the rear deck speakers are a true full range speaker, and if so what are the color codes (+-)? Planning on swapping out with some 6x9s and adding a audio control lc2i, sub and a couple of amps. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just installed Alpine Type X 6X9 Components in the rear of my 2018 1LE and they sound really good, cant tell it they are actually full range but they do have good low end base response to my ear.

If you tap into the rear sail speakers wiring for a signal to add a set of 6x9 in the rear deck, it is full range in a 1SS/1LE. If you are simply replacing rear deck speakers in a 2SS bose, it's low frequency only. Not sure on the high pass filter frequency but I would assume 120hz or around there.

for the Bose system....the rear deck and door speakers are the exact same part number....the bose amp crossover point is around 250-300 Hz...the rear deck and doors see everything below that point....the dash speakers (left and right) and the rear sail panel speakers see everything above this....if i recall...the bose amp upper end is around 16,000 Hz...
for the bose system....the best place to get a signal for sub amp is the door speakers...
