Camaro Year Round

Anyone on here in Canada ever drive a Camaro year round?

I think the 2.0L Turbo with good set of snow tires in snow and ice mode would be fine year round here in Ottawa.

I've heard some people drive a 6.2L year round

They're great winter cars. I drive mine year round. Nokians Hakkapeliitta 8's in OEM size on OEM 20's in the winter. Anyone who thinks the Goodyear stockers are fine for winters doesn't know what winter is lol.

Year round here for me. 2017 2SS M6 wearing 245/50/18 Hakkapeliitta 9 studded tires. I swear it has better traction than my 2013 F150 4x4 with Blizzaks.

I drive an SS year round. Had no problem this season with a set of 245/20 Blizzaks

First winter with my 1LE equipped with 18" wheels/Blizzaks. Short of a few days when the snow in my subdivision was way too deep to even consider leaving (didnt want to be the snowplow) I've had no issues. Being my first RWD vehicle I was a little unsure of it at first but don't generally second guess it anymore.

I also left the car in sport mode something about the throttle response in Snow/Ice feels wrong to me. Probably just an adjustment thing but not like I'm hammering on it anyways.

Second year with just BFG Comp2 A/S. No issues.....2 or 3 days were a little tricky when the snow got crazy.
Love driving this beast all year.

I drive my 50 daily, studded ice tires and 100 pounds in the trunk and go anywhere. I do wash about every 3 days, but no splitter problems and just keep up momentum in the deep stuff.

2LT year round. I got my car almost 1 year to the day. I won't drive when its terrible out. I left the all seasons and have had no issues even in some snowy weather. We've had a relatively tame winter. I have a limit of about 3-5cm of snow unplowed though. Anything more and it isn't worth it.

No issues with the splitter, I also do the majority of my driving in town and am mindful of chunks of ice falling off vehicles. I have to do everything i can to avoid it. I've kept it as clean as possible and see no damage to the paint anywhere. The hood is also not showing any staining of any kind.

While I didn't store it I generally only drive to work and back (18km round trip) to try to minimize any chance of it taking damage. Perhaps some errands on the weekend but it has only seen the highway a handful of times all winter.

18” Michelin icex3 in the winter - Oct to May. Second year doing it and in the main it’s fine.

But now the question is 2.0L? 3.6L? or 6.2L? year round?

Well.
With all of them you will be driving in style.

The V6 is really good.

But the 6.2 is Nasty
