Thoughts on Thompson Motorsports?

I'm looking to completely rebuild my car into something I can take to the track often. I was looking at building a 427 lsx for a twin turbo set up and stumbled across this set up here http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/p...roducts_id=533. Was just curious if this is a good deal or something worth investing in.

Doesn't seem to bad of a deal really. I have heard of them, but don't know of anyone who's used them. 1khp.....that's getting serious alright........ LOL. Hence why I Iove super sport bikes. Buy one for 18k or less and can run bottom 10s to mid 9s out the box. See if you can find some more positive feedback. If so, and they can put it in writing a honest time frame, do it!

Yeah, I thought the deal was good too. My initial plan was building a 427 long block and getting an AGP kit. That's basically the power range I was looking for and this one claims to make the power without the use of e85. I'll definitely do some digging on the company.

They are a good internet sales larger retailer, so is SAG performance group where I got my engine from custom engine supply....just looking at the pic...not going to fit, interference maybe from the tunnel ram and the down tubes out front how it fits in a Camaro......??????????????? You could talk to Jerry at custom, or others and get better ideas. No saying what the compression ratio is the usable power band, the streetability..has to be high on top end HP with a tunnel ram etc....but hey its torque that moves a heavy object.

Depends on your power goals. I personally went with the 6.0L/370 from Thompson and I have the AGP kit. Goal is 1300HP on E85. I also asked about the 427 and Kyle recommended the 370 unless I don't have enough fuel to make the power. Fortunately, I have a Fore triple pump.
