By the looks of that mid pipe setup, you'd have to do some cutting and welding to put a high flow kitty after the headers. I don't have to pass smog or inspection, so my knowledge of cats are limited to cut them out and sell them to a scrapper.




I was looking at getting TSP 2" headers and using this kits mid pipe set up, but if the group buy does happen and the price gets more appealing, then I'll just buy the whole kit and repair any of the chinesium defects.

i just got off the phone with them, guy confirmed they're made in house(so good fitment) said they will not be doing a group buy or anything like that anytime soon. if anyone else has better luck keep us updated. i don't want to be the first to get these, but ill probably order this weekend once i get my pay

Hmmm....that’s weird because I was told they were manufactured “overseas”. And at these prices, I can’t imagine that they would be made in-house. Oh well, either way, it’s a great price, so it doesn’t surprise me that they don’t want to do a group buy! I’m seriously considering these too! Share some pics if you end up ordering them.

I'm not so sure I believe that they are made here stateside. Anyone who can weld stainless an not sugar the shit out of the welds isn't going to do it cheaply, which raises the price overall. Non/Union welders know they're worth, and know welding the cantankerous stainless pays the bills.


Thanks for asking about a group buy. It's a bummer they won't do something for us. Be sure to take a lot of pictures for us when yours arrives. I'll hold off a bit longer on buying my TSP until I can see the quality of these.

Made in house over in China. You are never going to buy American made stainless headers for less then 500.00.

I was told the same thing about the group buy...

In for pictures and a review. Everything I found on the Corvette forum and Camaro5 seemed positive though.

^That is what I read directly from SE over at LS1tech. They are Chinese headers just like any other company that offers a inexpensive stainless. Does not mean they are bad, they are just made in China.
