I don't know if it could effect it, but maybe get your batter checked out. Totally apples to oranges but my wifes explorer has a power lift gate that we can set how much it opens. It started acting goofy, not opening to where we set it and closing it before we pressed the button. Turns out the battery was on it's last legs

Thanks...I've tried everything and it only works about 50% of the time. I have a 6spd. So when I get out here's the steps I follow:
Put car in gear Put parking brake on shut off car open door And here's my start procedure: Put car in neutral push clutch and brake, start car release parking brake put car in gear I've been very faithful at following this procedure since reading it here about 2 days ago and it's still hit and miss.... |

Ours is a little different, though, at least on the 2018: we need to press Set first (one beep), then 1 or 2 or Exit next (two beeps) to save a position, plus we have to hold the button down to manually recall a position (but why, oh, why, GM??? guess this is another "safety concern", similar to the lack of remote window closing).
The rest of the video may be applicable, but given these differences, it's more of a tip than a step-by-step procedure.

Make sure the parking brake has fully engaged. When I first got the car I pulled back but not enough and it didn’t engage. I hate the button btw, lol

My seat memory has not been working recently. I just went to vehicle settings, ride and comfort or something similar, and found seat memory had been turned off by Chevy's latest software updates.

Figured out the memory seat issue. When you get in the car, the steps are as follows:
Push clutch, step on brake and start car Buckle safety belt I was buckling my belt before I started the car, something that's going to be a bad habit to break...LOL Haven't had an issue with it since I've been doing it this way. |

Try this... Using your regular habit, unbuckle the seat belt after starting and see if it does anything, then buckle again. Curious if either will trigger an event for the car. |

I drive a manual 2016 and all that's required for the memory seats to function is to have the parking brake engaged. But i am sure the engineers changed bits since then as they never leave anything alone for long. :-)
