Rotofab with 2560R default tune

I bought the Magnuson 2650R "Full" kit that comes with a tune since my 2017 ZL1 is mostly stock and I don't want to bother (yet) with custom tuning and push things to much until I'm doing more mods.

Anyone here by chance using the default tune with a Rotofab? Any concerns?

I assume it should be just fine. If not, I'll have to suck it up and get it tuned and eat the money

I emailed Magnuson to see if they happen to offer a version of the tune with the Rotofab or performance air filter (thought I read someone had got one) but they said no

It will be fine. If you had the Big Gulp version that would be a different story since the MAF scaling would be way off due to the 5” diameter.

I agree with Josh that you should be fine with the Maggie tune if its the 4" Rotofab. They don't offer a RotoFab tune since its built in Cali and Rotofab won't pass Carb.

I ran the standard ZL1 RF with the canned Maggie tune and it was completely fine.

On a semi related note, does anyone know off hand the OD diameter for the RF dry tube at the throttle body?

I just bought a Katech 103mm TB and I need to order a new rubber coupler for attaching the RF to it. But my car is put away in winter storage at the momment.

Thanks!
