OBD2 Scanner
Does any know if there is a cheap scanner that can tell if the evap and injection are ready to test. I took My car to inspection twice and it keeps getting denied as not ready.

I'm 90% sure this cheap scanner I got on sale for $20 has that (currently $34 after the coupon which i think is a little high).
TOPDON AL400 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09NW325DV/ Video timestamp of the specific option I think you're looking for. https://youtu.be/eID0Yjv8Myc?t=259 I can check if it does have evap and injection checks when I'm done working. |

Used to have a Colorado that had an evap issue like that. IIRC it was ~25 miles for the system to reset and be eligible for the inspection check (in NYS at least). I eventually sold the car and upgraded to a Silverado, but was able to pass inspection several times under those circumstances.

I see the evap system check but I don't see the injection one. Not sure if it's part of any of these other checks as I'm unfamiliar with the inspection process. I also went out for a quick ride but the evap system wasn't yet ready. The drive was 16 miles so I might just have to drive more than 25 miles as stated above.
