Catch can for eforce setup

I was wanting some suggestions on what catch can to get for wife's 16ss w the eforce since I'm getting one for my ZL1 if I don't get one for her I'll never hear the end of it lol. Everyone is telling me the elite one for mine but what will work with hers.. same preferences all black no hose clamps push on AN type fittings for the black pvc lines.

My Zl1 seems to use about 1 .5 qts in 4k miles hers stays rock solid. I doubt much is getting into her blower like mine is. I have had my lid off seems to be oil in there of course it always looks like a large amount lol.

Directions on install or pics of where goes what would help... thanks

I’ve had the Mishimoto on mine since new and just left it on there after the E-force install 22,000 miles ago. It definitely collects some oil. Not TONS, but some for sure.

I had a Mishimoto on my setup, but when I opened up the supercharger, I found oil on the inside of the rotor pack. I've upgraded to a Mighty Mouse setup now. Need some time on it to see how it works out. I can always upgrade the MM later on if I need to.

You're welcome Jack. Really recommend those mods for the Eforce. Not very difficult nor costly. Did it with my dominate wrist in a brace.

There is a lot more power available in my setup, but I feel that I'll need to dive into the engine and replace the pistons, fuel parts, headers, etc. to move up any farther in power chain. Not wanting to go down that rabbit hole since this is just a fun car with no particular racing goal.

The mounting for the MM is the same as the Elite in the picture posted by oneredry above; attached to the fan housing. Mine is the "mild" setup, similar to the Mishimoto setup, which is only the can inserted into the PVC line from the PVC valve in the engine valley to the SC. Simple routing. The "mild" setup still relies on the factory setup for venting the valve covers. We'll see if this does the trick.

Oh, BTW, you CAN get to the PVC hose connector on the PVC if you have slender fingers. I was able to get the old hose off and the new hose on without removing the rotor pack.

Is there anyone that can provide any follow up, or help me out with the same question?

I'm installing an Edelbrock TVS2650 kit next week and I want to make sure I have a system in place that is functioning properly. I have a Mishimoto now, and am considering the Elite E2X.

I have tried to understand both how the stock system works and what the PCV hoses in the Edelbrock kit do and my brain hurts (I attached the manual)....I just want to make sure the catch can is still separating oil under boost as we as vacuum.

Can any of you kind gentleman elaborate on hose routing? When you order the E2X do you need extra hose and fittings? Do you guys think the black braided hose is worth it?

Thanks!
