Of course not all Challengers sold have 707 hp. That doesn’t mean the Hellcat, Demon and Redeye don’t generate sales because they exist.

If Camaro sales increased, it is due to incentives. And maybe more disposable income?

Not good for your pension. Hopefully they can make it up next year with Cruze hatchback sales in Mexico

the Buick and Cadillac CAR sales are horrifying. I guess they'll be truck brands too .

on the other hand the shape of Buick suv's remind me of an early 50's car. I guess that's what they public wants.

well the Accord's holiday commercial features the Six Million Dollar Man, a show that went off the air 40 years ago so apparently they aren't going for the under 40s

On a lighter note, good product placement/marketing in the George Bush ceremonies for Cadillac, Escalades and Suburbans...lol...

LOL...GM hasn't figured out it takes ads and promotion to sell niche cars..or any car. The basics of ads has never changed...never will. They would even sell more Vettes if they had an effective ad campaign.

Yep...I noticed that. All American products. Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Ford Police cars and Chevy Surburban escorts and a Cadillac Hearst. Good to see someone still believes in American product.

I love my SS 6speed, All I need. Power, comfort and performance. I have no need for a ZL1. Even with the magnaRide left in Sport its quite sufficient as I never intend to actually track my car. Its a street DD like all my cars have been. ZL1s are good if you plan to do some serious tracking. Now if the Camaro were not available I would be shopping Mustang or Challenger. Challenger looks better but will not out handle the Mustang. Depending on the package would depend on the quickest Straight line performance. I would probably be shopping for the best deal as to what I end up with.

If Camaro Dies so will Chevy as we know it. The Camaro and Vette are the only cars left to give it any street cred. All else are pansy cookie cutter follow the pied piper type cars.

Wish they only made 500, can you imagine the value of your car in 20 years. It will be worth more than you paid for it.

Seeing as how Camaro was not included in the recent plant closings and discontinued models, I would think it's future is secure. If Camaro was losing money or had no future, it would have been included in the recent announcements of non-allocations.

It seems somewhat a paradox that the models still being produced into GM's future seem juxtaposed to the planned electric and autonomous vehicles.

Camaro with V-8 power, two-door sports coupe, is quite the surprise survivor going against the grain of the all electric, autonomous future.
