I have a friend that lives in Gallatin. He said the tornado was so close to his house that he could hear it in the distance. Praying for all those who were in harms way of the tornado!

The tornado devastation was horrendous. Just unimaginable destruction over a huge area of middle Tennessee. The Volunteer state is already showing it's spirit though with helping hands & donations abounding. It is going to be a long road to recovery though. AGAIN. Tornadoes in '98, then the 2010 floods now this. Tennessee Strong.
As for me, not so good news. I had to have another biopsy in addition to the ultrasound (both were also done last year). My uterine walls were hugely thickened last year & have doubled again in thickness since then. I for sure have to have the hysterectomy, Just hoping no cancer. I will find out in 2 weeks. Hold good thoughts & prayers. Sure do dread all this. Old bodies don't heal so well.

We had a car cruise through south, central and southwest Louisiana on Saturday. It was a bit over 300 miles, driveway to driveway. We had some ~80 cars involved. Everything from some very classic cars and trucks (a truck club was a major player), the Corvette Club was a strong player and then our organizing club, Cruizin' the Back Roads of Louisiana. The route ran through some of the big pine country using some wonderful two lane roads. A good time for many.

Hope everyone is doing well! Our Governor ordered a stay at home effective until April 30th. Good news is that Liquor stores are consider essential business and will remain open!

Stay at home orders here too. Mike gets to work from home. Being retired, not much different for me. Scary times though. Stay safe crew.
