My apologies if this was cover earlier and I didn’t see it.

What is the ideal TB size after porting the front opening on the LT2 manifold? I don’t want to get a bigger size and not be able to match up the opening which would be a waste. I hear a lot a talk about the 95mm over the stock 87mm. That’s 0.315 inch of a difference, is there any real performance gains that can make the purchase worthwhile?

Somebody else said they had to shave into the o ring groove for the seal to get the 95mm to fit right.. my 91mm (ported stock 87mm) had actualy matched up perfect and I didn’t have to shave anything to match it. Anything over the stock 87 will definitely be worth it tho

Run of the mill recipe really
You picked up 3mph with the ls2/95mm tb setup?

I saw some improvements based from my logs on Saturday that I already incorporated and loaded Sunday. looks good on street. I still have a few more trips this fall.
But that 1.5mph was over your stock ported manifold, right?

Anyone know what part number is or where to get the manifold bolts I snapped one off and need another. Also any tips on getting the one snapped off out?

So has anyone checked air fuel after installing the LT2 manifold (without adjusting the tune)? I saw 1 or 2 people say on the camaro 6 facebook group that it is running a little lean at wot up top. Not sure if that’s true or not but if it is, my LT2 manifold that hasn’t been installed yet is about to be for sale.

Since the LT2 manifold is most likely to only increase volumetric efficiency at higher rpms (>4000rpms) you won't have any problems. The stock calibration completely relies on the MAF sensor above 4000 rpms and as long as you haven't messed with the MAF sensor or have a aftermarket air intake that has a modified MAF tube then the MAF sensor will pick up the extra air and tell the ECM to increase fuel accordingly.

After my LT2 manifold install I never noticed any significant difference and my target AFR was still good at WOT.

Thanks! I wanted to hear from someone’s who’s afr didn’t change. Before installing the manifold. Not sure why someone else’s did. My car is bone stock so I guess it shouldn’t change or change much.

Also depends what other mods they have.
You can't just start compounding minor mods together and expect to always be fine. Stock tune and lt2 would probably be fine, the car will adjust but once you start adding throttle body, bigger intake tube, etc, things change.
